Note about “In Jesus name, Amen.” Why is that mentioned at the end of prayers? I realized that after doing this video some may be curious as to why that phrase is added. It is something that I started doing by habit after hearing one of our Deacons give an insightful homily about making sure that the Lord knows, that your prayers are in His name. Over time this phrase “In Jesus name, Amen” became part of my natural “Amen.” I have caught myself doing this even at the end of dinner prayers. It is not part of the prayer itself, but rather part of the “Amen.” Essentially, it’s so natural for me, that I didn’t really think about how that may be confusing for those starting to learn the rosary or learn more about Catholic prayers and wanted to drop a few lines to explain that little difference in this rosary. I’m not sure if I should include it in future rosaries. What do you think? Please let me know in the YouTube comments section for this video.
